Nostradamus Prophecies verse C2 Q91 Immortals aim circle of death's great fire as aid to motals grasping mortalismIn this verse Nostradamus relates the sequence of events we know today as 9/11 with the text providing a vivid description of that tragic attack upon the twin towers.

The anagrams provide the lettering 'imm' in the fourth line which may well serve as a a Roman-style dating device for 1999 and 2001.

The actual event took place in 2001CE while in verse C10 Q72 he uses the year 1999 as a precursory signal for a description that was widely recognised at the time as an appropriate description of the events of 9/11/2001. That verse says:

The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror:
To bring back to life the great King of the Mongol
Before and after Mars to reign by good luck.

The anagrams in this current verse do not dwell heavily on the physical details of the attack but focus on the profound scarring of attitudes it produces.

Nostradamus compares it to the impact of older battles such as the battle of Modon and then references the sense of mortalism ( im mort las) such disasters engender in travelers ( larte vers). The extent of the emotional change is highlighted by the type of tributes ( s Bruit et) placed upon the altars ( rt las at) in modern lands ( dans l - e rond m).

The modern tale in this verse relates to a disastrous attack in Europe later this century in which we have an immortal state ( im mort la - s atte).

# Modon: Venetian name for Methoni in the Greek Peloponnese - famous Battle of Modon took place in 1500CE.
#
quintole: variant form for quintuplets.
