Nostradamus C5 Q53: The astronomy of Polaris displaces the planets of Astrology.
Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015

The following verse makes sense when seen as Nostradamus commenting on those who predict while under the unfluence of drugs. The anagrams appear like an inspired revelation whick distinguishes his method of prophecy from that of his predecessors. (See C.5 Q.61 for another example). The overarching principle is the manner in which he encodes epochs using Polaris rather than planets. And he does this by the use of repeated letter groupings that form countable props and in creating them he used those props used in earlier literature as his starting point.

The anagrams providing the structure of these claims include:

loyal soul unconsented loudest event evolutes
La loy du Sol et Venus contendens

inappropriate planets proletarianised personalities priest tried tie the plainest prop
Appropriant l'eſprit de prophetie

Sun Lune relevant nature Norse-tree tuned
Ne l'vn ne l'autre ne ſeront entendus

Polaris polarities trained loyal guardsmen named dimness Persias drugman missed
Par Sol tiendra la loy du grand Meſſie
The law of the Sun and of Venus in strife,
Appropriating the spirit of prophecy
Neither the one nor the other will be understood,
The law of the great Messiah will hold through the Sun
La loy du Sol et Venus contendens
Appropriant l'eſprit de prophetie
Ne l'vn ne l'autre ne ſeront entendus
Par Sol tiendra la loy du grand Meſſie
